Badminton

The badminton department is one of the youngest in the entire club. Founded in July 2021 by department head Markus Herrmann, treasurer Peter Richter and coach Lars Förster as well as 5 other athletes - all of whom are friends and recreational players - we are already pleased to welcome a number of new members, despite our short existence.

In addition to maximum sporting commitment and personal bests, fun and community are the main focus of our club life. We are a purely recreational group and do not take part in competitions. However, we regularly hold a family-friendly badminton tournament internally to find our champion.

Jahnkampfbahn sports hall, Fürstenstraße 87, 09130 Chemnitz

Training times:
(April-September) Mondays and Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
(October-March) Wednesdays 8:30 pm – 10:00 pm
