Basketball

Basketball is a ball sport that is usually played indoors , in which two teams try to throw the ball into the opposing team's basket . The baskets are 3.05 meters high on the two narrow sides of the court. A team consists of five field players and up to seven substitutes, who can change as often as they like. Each shot into the basket during play counts two or three points, depending on the distance. A free throw counts one point. The team with the higher score wins. (Source: Wikipedia)

Our two basketball sports groups do not take part in tournaments or play competitive sports. They meet once a week to shoot a few baskets and play their favorite sport together.
