Skiing

Need to catch up on fitness? Enjoy sport but lack group motivation? Then there's only one thing you can do: join us!

Don't be shy. We call ourselves "skis," but we haven't been involved in competitive sports for a few years. Nevertheless, we often go skiing together in the winter and use the training to get fit for that.

We share the same interests: in addition to the fun of winter sports, we also enjoy doing sports together and keeping fit - it's easier to overcome your inner demons in a group. Our main focus is not on peak athletic performance - this way everyone feels good.

We train once a week - in the winter months (September to May) in the hall:

During the summer months (May to September) we mostly go cycling →  see dates .

Our sports group also thrives on the interests and activities of its members:

• Winter sports weekends, such as 2004 in Oberwiesenthal, 2006 in Crottendorf, 2009 in Satzung, 2010 in Tannenbergsthal or 2011 in Oberjugel, 2017 in Jonsdorf, 2018 Bad Einsiedel, 2019 Lesna
• joint ski tours in the Ore Mountains, from leisurely to sporty
• Winter start and end: other sporting activities, e.g. bowling, spinning, archery, ski training in the fitness center or similar, followed by “planning” in a relaxed atmosphere
• Highlights: Skiing in the French Alps, family vacation in Austria, cross-country skiing in Finland
• Highlights of recent years have been canoe tours or weekend bike tours from Chemnitz to Wermsdorf or Mühlberg/Elbe
